The film ‘Srikanth’, based on the life of visually impaired Indian industrialist Shrikant Bola, will release on May 10. We brought the review of the movie a day ago. The duration of this genre biographical film is 2 hours 2 minutes. Rajkumar Rao starrer Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars.

What is the story of the film?
On 13 July 1992, a boy Srikanth (Rajkumar Rao) is born in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. When the child’s laughter echoes through the house, parents are filled with joy. However, they are surprised when they learn that his son was born blind, meaning he cannot see.

The child cannot see, but the parents do not interfere with his education. After 10th, Srikant wants to get admission in science subject, but because he is blind, he does not get it. With the help of his teacher (Jyotika), Srikanth files a case against the education system and wins.

However, even after this, Srikant’s problems do not subside. Because he is blind, he is not admitted to the IIT, but it is said that when dreams are big, no power in the world can stop him from succeeding.

Srikanth applies to MIT, United States, one of the most prestigious institutes in the world, where he gets admission. After returning from there, you will have to watch the movie to know what challenges come in Srikanth’s life and how he starts his own business.

How is the performance of the star cast?
There is no doubt that Rajkumar Rao is a great actor. In real life, how a blind person speaks, how his eyes move, Rajkumar has captured it very well. His acting is first class. Jyotika’s role as a teacher is very serious.

After the film Shaitan, his role in this one also deserves praise. Alaya F is charming as Srikanth’s love interest. Sharad Kelkar also plays the role of Srikant’s friend. Jameel Khan’s work in the role of Missile Man and former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is also excellent.

What is the address like?
The film has been directed by Tushar Hiranandani. It is generally seen that there are more emotional scenes in biopic films, but here emotions have not prevailed. The struggle is shown in the film, but in a very positive way.

While watching the movie, you will feel more happiness and inspiration than pity. Tusshar has kept the main character absolutely real, he has not hesitated to show a different side of the character. The dialogues of the movie are quite powerful, this is why the dialogue writer should get full marks.

The first half is purely entertaining, but some scenes in the second half slow down the pace of the story. However, after the climax you will leave the theater feeling good.

What is the music of the film like?
The song Papa Kehte Hain from the movie ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ has been recreated here. This song fits the sequence of the movie. There are also other songs that are not worth mentioning.

Final verdict, watch or not?
In our society there is an opinion about disabled people that they cannot do anything extraordinary in their life. This movie changes this concept. Srikanth has a dialogue in the film: Don’t get caught up in our business, we will sell you and eat you.

Through this dialogue, Srikanth wants to convey that despite being blind, he is not less than anyone. This movie will inspire you, there is no doubt about it. For this you can definitely turn to the theater.
