New Delhi. Sonali Bendre, one of the top actresses of the 90s, has recently returned to the OTT platform with the sequel to her hit series ‘The Broken News’. Based on the British drama called ‘Press’, the show stars Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the lead roles. It is directed by Vinay Vaikule. These days Sonali is busy promoting her. She recently spoke openly about many things, from professional life to personal life.

Sonali Bendre found out in 2018 that she had cancer. She did not give up and bravely faced the disease and defeated it. Sonali is now completely fine, but now she has to suffer the consequences of this illness. She recently told what the effect of chemotherapy was on her health.

While talking to Pinkvilla, the actress said that after reading it once, she used to memorize the entire page of the script. But, after returning from this illness, things are not the same. She said I don’t know if it’s hard or not, but recently when I started, the memory was much better. Sonali Bendre said: I can read the entire page and remember it. However, after chemotherapy it takes her longer to remember the script.

He further said that nowadays I need to take a little more time to memorize those lines. Sonali Bendre said: “It could be brain fog after chemo, aging or I don’t know what it is, but it’s happening and it’s strange to me.”

Let us tell you that in the year 2018, Sonali was diagnosed with stage four cancer. She underwent treatment in New York and became cancer-free in 2021. Since then, she has been supporting cancer survivors and raising awareness.

While talking to Pinkvilla, Sonali Bendre said that she was an accidental actress. The actress said that she never felt inspired to become an actress. Ella Sonali Bendre said, “This happened to me and as it progressed, I started to fall in love with it.” After her battle with cancer, the actress realized her true love for acting and she revealed that she wanted nothing more in her life than to be in front of the camera.
