Someone manipulated this video, put Alia’s face on it and made it viral. Now, with the publication of Alia’s fake video, artificial intelligence technology is once again criticized.

Alia is a victim of deepfake for the second time
Even before this, a deepfake video of Alia Bhatt surfaced. In that deepfake video, a girl in a white and blue floral dress was seen striking a daring pose. Alia’s face has been used so clearly in the video with the help of an artificial intelligence tool that at a glance, the girl looks like Alia Bhatt. However, from her action and body posture it can be inferred that the video is fake.

After the video went viral, Kajol’s fans expressed their displeasure.

Video of Kajol changing clothes also went viral
A while ago, a video of Kajol went viral, in which she is seen changing her clothes. Fact checking revealed that it was a deepfake video made by an influencer in June last year.

Rashmika’s face transformed into the influencer’s body.

Some time ago, a deepfake video of Rashmika Mandanna also went viral. After the video went viral, many celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Mrinal Thakur and Nag Chaitanya came out in support. After a while the matter worsened, the girl Zara Patel was identified, on whose body a deepfake was made using Rashmika’s face.

The girl, while providing clarification on this matter, said that she was not aware that her video had been misused. A police investigation was subsequently launched and the accused was arrested. The defendant argued that he had made that video to get views.

What is deepfake?

Deepfake is, in a way, a fake video, although in this the face, voice or expression are changed so thoroughly using artificial intelligence tools that it is difficult to distinguish between what is real and what is fake.

Cases of deepfake videos have increased with the arrival of AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools, because videos can be easily edited through these tools.

First, deepfake involves face morphing, whereby another person’s face is added to a person’s body. In addition to changing the face, a person’s clothing, expression, and voice can also be altered.

This type of technology is mainly used on porn sites. A person’s photographs are converted into nude photographs and uploaded to these sites. With the advent of deepfakes, the threat to identity has increased significantly.
